National Quality Framework
Belonging, Being & Becoming - The Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) describes the principles, practices and outcomes that support and enhance young children's learning from birth to school age, as well as their transition to school. The National Quality Framework (NQF) provides a national approach to regulation, assessment and quality improvement for early childhood education and care services across Australia.
Our educators use the EYLF planning cycle when developing programs, whilst reflecting on what works well and what might need improvement to provide the most effective and engaging programs possible. Modern Family Early Learning aims to exceed the national quality standard across each of the seven quality areas which are:
Educational program and practice.
Children’s health and safety.
Physical environment.
Staffing arrangements.
Relationships with children.
Collaborative partnerships with families and communities.
Governance and leadership.
For more information on the EYLF, visit www.acecqa.gov.au or mention this in your enquiry and we would be happy to help!
Fees
Fees are based upon days of attendance, and any special offers available at the time. A non-refundable enrolment fee is required upon application and two weeks fees in advance. Payment options include direct debit (preferred), BPAY or EFTPOS.
Government Funding Assistance
Modern Family Early Learning Centre understands that affordability varies from family to family, but it doesn’t have to prevent your child from receiving a cutting edge education. As an approved child care service, eligible for Child Care Subsidy (CCS), we can assist you to access funding appropriate to your circumstances. Please mention this when you enquire with us.
Child Care Subsidy
There is a new Child Care Subsidy, which replaces the current Child Care Benefit and Child Care Rebate. The Child Care Subsidy will be paid directly to services. Some basic requirements must be satisfied for an individual to be eligible to receive the Child Care Subsidy. These include:
The age of the child (must be 13 or under and not attending secondary school).
The child meeting immunisation requirements.
The individual, or their partner, meeting the residency requirements.
Three things will determine a family’s level of Child Care Subsidy eligibility:
A family’s annual adjusted taxable income.
An activity test will determine how many hours of subsidised care families can access, up to a maximum of 100 per fortnight.
The type of child care service will determine the hourly rate cap.
